PSJC Membership

Our Members

PSJC warmly encourages families and individuals of all ages, gender identity, races, cultural backgrounds, and interfaith couples to join our community. Our members include artists, musicians, graduate students, yoga instructors, bankers, writers, social workers, rabbis, teachers, and more, ranging in age from infancy to retirement. We have families with three generations in the community and individuals who just moved to the neighborhood.  We hope you will learn more about our community and our missionstaff, and programming. PSJC Shabbat services and most of our programming is open to non-members. We invite you to visit and learn more! Please introduce yourself to an greeter or member of our staff if you are visiting.

How do I Join?

Visit our online new members application - we'll be in touch as soon as we receive it!  If you need assistance with the form or have any questions, please email office@psjc.org to be put in touch with a member of our staff.

Why Join PJSC?

Joy, melody, enthusiasm and spirit define religious life at PSJC. The benefits of membership in this supportive community are vast and include opportunities for engagement, learning and connecting with one another. How do I determine the right level of dues for me?

PSJC 2025 - 2026 Membership Commitment
Our greatest priority is to welcome everyone who wants to be part of our community, so at PSJC, members determine their own financial commitment. To thrive, to properly maintain our building, and to plan for emergencies, we ask that you choose a dues amount that is as high as possible for you. To help put your pledge in perspective, please consider the following.

SUPPORTER - $1,500 for individual ($3,000 for household)
If every member supports our community at this level, we can cover basic operations. We hope that everyone who can do so will choose to contribute at this level or above.

SUSTAINER - $2,000 for individual ($4,000 for household)
If every community member were to give at this level, we could thrive and properly provide for rainy days.

BUILDER - $3,000 for individual ($6,000 for household)
This level sustains the community while supporting another member of more limited means.

CONTRIBUTER - Fair Share commitment

PSJC is committed to welcoming everyone, regardless of financial means. Members unable to afford the above membership levels may make a commitment based on a fair-share model that aligns dues with household income. Members taking this option are asked to set their contribution based on the schedule below. If you have any additional concerns or questions, please be in touch with our office staff or email treasurer@psjc.org

PSJC is its members, and we are building this community together.
