About the Event

Mah Nishtanah? Why is this Rosh Hashanah Different from all others? In part, because this year many of us will try out a new (and very old) tradition from the Sephardic communities, namely a Rosh Hashanah Seder. With the use of symbolic foods, we name our hopes for the new year. Everyone at PSJC will be receiving a “Rosh Hashanah Haggadah”, and this session is opportunity to learn about why we have this ritualized eating at the New Year, and how you might be able to run your own Rosh Hashanah Seder this year. It is a great way to connect to the day and to other people (in person or over zoom). It’s not just apples and honey this year!

Shanah Tovah Umetukah (A good, sweet year for us all).
